ChengHe Guan is a Pollman Fellow in Real Estate and Urban Development at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Guan’s research uses quantitative methods and GIS to explore the built and natural environment and morphology of urban and regional development. He focuses his Pollman research in small town planning and a comparative study of morphological conditions of wilderness urban interface. He is also a consultant for the World Bank Urban Development Sector, a registered architect in California, and a founding principal of a design consulting firm ‘City Builder Design’ in Boston.

Guan started running Marathon for the Lingzi Foundation in 2015. He has since completed over ten races in China, Japan, and the United States. Through running, he hopes Bostonians to remember the Bombing attack in 2013 and Lingzi Lu to be memorized by all of us.
