I am running in the 2017 Boston marathon on behalf of the Lingzi Foundation on Monday, April 17th. I am hoping to raise $5,000 for the foundation. Please read more about me below and if you would like to contribute toward my run for the Lingzi foundation, click on the donate button below:
My name is Dongming Lu. I am a senior student at Northeastern University majoring in accounting. Shenyang, which is Lingzi’s hometown, is only 30 miles away from my hometown, and it is also the place that I lived during my high school years. I came to Boston in 2012 as a freshman at Northeastern. Like a lot of international students, I have many wonderful memories of living in Boston. One of them is about running. I started to run three years ago, and I have finished four 5Ks, three 10Ks, and six half marathons. I am also a member of Northeastern University Triathlon Team. Running has been and lot of fun and I have made a lot of friends. Since I started running, I have been dreaming of running the Boston Marathon one day, especially when I saw the finish line on Boylston Street. It will be my honor to run 2017 Boston Marathon in memory of Lingzi. It is really meaningful for me to support Lingzi Foundation and the city of Boston.
