Wei Chen received his PhD in Computer Science from CUNY Graduate Center in NYC. He then moved to Boston in 2010 working on computational proton therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Currently he is an engineer at Akamai Technologies in Cambridge. Since his very first visit to Boston, he has fallen in love with this city full of energetic young people and tireless runners of all ages.

In 2010, Wei started running along Boston Harbor, Charles River, Mystic Lake and more with many of his friends. He finished the BAA half marathon, Ragnar Reach the Beach relay, and recently the NYC marathon. He sincerely believes everyone’s dream can come true in this city of Boston. Let’s keep running!
